1. What are your names?

2. When did you start doing CrossFit? 

Cedric Gray: September 2012

Cedric Gray II: September 2012

Marcus Gray: June 2012

3. What got you into CrossFit?

Cedric Gray: Watching the CrossFit games on TV

Cedric Gray II: My father told me that CrossFit would help me with my speed and stamina for football.

Marcus Gray: I wanted to be in shape

4. What do you like about CrossFit? 

Cedric Gray: That you get a cardio and strength work out simultaneously

Cedric Gray II: I love how everyone welcomes you through the door and I really love the competition in the gym

Marcus Gray: Lifting weights, jump rope, and running sometimes

5. What is your favorite workout and why?

Cedric Gray:  Elizabeth (21-15-9 clean 135lbs and ring dips) because those are the two exercises I am good at

Cedric Gray II: CrossFit total (Press, Back Squat, and Dead Lift) because I like to max out and show off what I can do

Marcus Gray: Anything with deadlifting because I am stronger in deadlifting

6. What is your least favorite workout and why?

Cedric Gray: Nancy (5 rounds for time: 400 meter run and overhead squat x15) because I don't like overhead squats

Cedric Gray II: Anything with muscle ups because I can't do them

Marcus Gray: burpees because it's an exhausting exercise

7. What else should we know about you? 

Cedric Gray: Nothing

Cedric Gray II: I'm a college student. I major in mathematics. I played football at Methodist University, but it didn’t work out for me so I transferred to CCCC to get my associates degree and plan to transfer to NCSU to be eligible to play football again and work towards getting my Masters in Mathematics.

Marcus Gray: I am strong and loyal

8. How has CrossFit changed your daily life? 

Cedric Gray: Nothing (Editor's note: Like we said, a man of few words)

Cedric Gray II:  I’ve met a lot of cool people and been to my first competition and got third since I been in CrossFit.

Marcus Gray: I’ve made a lot of new friends

9. What personal changes have you noticed since starting CrossFit?

Cedric Gray: I'm stronger in areas I used to be weak in

Cedric Gray II: Since I’ve been doing CrossFit, I have endurance for days. Running 3 miles used to be a lot for me, but now I can run it faster and still not be tired. I can do a CrossFit workout and still run 3 miles afterwards and not be tired. CrossFit gave me the stamina I needed.

Marcus Gray: I am faster and, I lost a lot of weight since CrossFit
